PG Course: Candidates who obtains at least 50 % aggregate in B.Sc. with Chemistry as one of the

Optional subject.

Credit course on “Lead: Its impact and application”

Industry Linkage:

Students will get an opportunity to attend workshop with industrial leaders like GE, Ce-Chem Pharmaceuticals and LGC Promochem.

Research Activities: The institution has a well equipped research lab where students will be exposed to the modern research instruments like Atomic Absorption Spectrometer (AAS), HPLC, Ultra Sonicator and UV-Visible spectrometer, Flame photometer etc.

Infrastructure

The Department has four UG & two PG laboratories which are well equipped.

Department Fest: As a part of “Science Fest” the Department conducts different competitions.

Department Seminars & Conferences: Department conducts seminars & conferences sponsored by different government agencies once in three years. UGC sponsored National Conference on “Lab to Business World” was conducted in February 2015.

Department Library: Has a Departmental library with more than 180 books.
